Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the roameoesim.com website and the Roameo mobile application (together, the “Service”), operated from Hong Kong by Roameo (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or purchasing an eSIM plan you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have a device that supports eSIM technology.

2. The Service

Roameo resells prepaid mobile data plans (“eSIM plans”) provisioned through licensed wholesale partners. Coverage, speed, and availability are determined by the underlying mobile network operator(s) and are not guaranteed.

3. Purchases and payment

  • All prices are shown at checkout in the currency listed (HKD by default). Taxes, if applicable, are included unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe's terms.
  • eSIM activation codes are delivered by email and inside your Roameo account immediately after a successful payment.

4. Refunds

Because eSIM plans are digital goods activated against external networks, all sales are final once the activation code (QR code) has been delivered. We will issue a refund only if:

  • the plan was charged but never delivered to you;
  • the plan is unusable due to a defect attributable to us; or
  • you have not redeemed the activation code, and you request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

  • You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer eSIM plans.
  • You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to send spam, to abuse the network, or to bypass our security or rate limits.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

6. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or created a security risk. Where lawful and practical we will give notice before termination.

7. Intellectual property

Roameo, the Roameo logo, the website, and the mobile app are owned by us. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error- free transmission, or specific connectivity speeds. We are not responsible for outages, throttling, or coverage gaps caused by underlying mobile network operators.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the eSIM plan giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute will be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
